Who we are
Honeycomb (“Honeycomb,” “we,” “us”) operates the website and application at honeycombdefi.app (the “Interface”). The Interface is a non-custodial front-end that helps you interact with third-party smart contracts on the Solana network. We do not take custody of your funds, and we never hold your private keys.
What we collect
We collect as little as possible. Specifically:
- ·Wallet address — when you connect a wallet, we read your public Solana address to display your balances and positions and to construct transactions for you to sign. Your address is already public on the Solana blockchain.
- ·Basic technical data — standard server and analytics logs (e.g. browser type, approximate region derived from IP, pages viewed) used to keep the Interface running and to improve it.
- ·Anything you voluntarily send us — for example, if you email us or message us for support.
We do not collect your name, government ID, KYC/identity documents, or private keys. We do not run identity verification, and the Interface never has the ability to move, freeze, or recover your funds.
How we use it
- ·To operate the Interface — read on-chain state by your public address and build the transactions you choose to sign.
- ·To maintain and improve the product — diagnose errors, understand usage, and enhance performance and security.
- ·To respond to you if you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
On-chain data is public
Transactions you sign are recorded on the Solana blockchain, which is a public, permissionless ledger outside our control. Anyone can view and index on-chain activity associated with your wallet address. This is a property of the blockchain, not something Honeycomb collects or can delete.
Third-party services
The Interface relies on independent third parties, each governed by its own terms and privacy practices:
- ·Kamino — the on-chain lending vaults the Interface interacts with.
- ·Jupiter — swap routing for the trade feature.
- ·RPC and infrastructure providers (e.g. Helius) — to read and broadcast Solana transactions.
- ·Hosting and analytics providers — to serve the site and measure basic usage.
- ·Your wallet provider — you connect a wallet of your choice; its handling of your keys and data is governed by that provider.
We are not responsible for the data practices of these third parties.
Cookies and local storage
The Interface uses local browser storage to remember non-sensitive preferences, such as your last-connected wallet, so you don’t have to reconnect each visit. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
Data retention and your choices
We keep technical logs only as long as needed to operate and secure the Interface. Because the Interface is non-custodial and identity-free, we typically hold no account tied to you beyond a public wallet address. You can stop all data association at any time by disconnecting your wallet and no longer using the Interface. To request deletion of any information we may hold about you, contact us at the address below and we will delete it except where retention is required by law.
Children
The Interface is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
